Specialties & Professional History

A Diverse Foundation in Behavioral Health

A 40+ year behavioral health career has allowed me to focus on a wide variety of areas, including individual and group therapy for adults with severe mental illness and addiction and therapy for individuals with trauma and mood disorders. Over the years, I have served in direct clinical care, supervisory, managerial, and executive roles across government, non-profit, and private agencies.

Specialized Gambling Disorder Treatment

In 2010, I transitioned back to direct care and established my private practice. Three years later, I joined the North Carolina Problem Gambling Program’s provider network. Over the past decade, my focus on problem gambling has deepened significantly, and my practice now specializes in treating the unique and devastating complexities of gambling disorders.
